I would like to give my very strong recommendations for Protective Oversight Partners, Ltd. I like to call POP! Since my Mom enrolled in the Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP), her care plan has improved significantly with a great deal of support from our POP Team! Mom is much happier in her own home now.
Moms POP Plan Coordinator, is one of the most organized people I have ever met! I was quit overwhelmed while undergoing the process of applying for medicaid. Our PC, assisted me every step of the way and found a wonderful live-in caregiver for us to hire. We had big problems with reliable staff and POP assisted in setting things straight with our home care agency.
Now, Mom is enrolled in the POP "SafeGuardTM Silver" Membership. Every week, her Home-care Advocate, visits 3 days per week, checks for safety, checks in on Mom and helps with just about anything non-medical that Mom needs. This routine gives her live-in Caregiver a chance to do lite house keeping and gets a few breaks during the week. Now, I can travel for work! I have successfully formed the team I need to care for my Mom at home, under her physician approved, consumer directed care plan. It is priceless to me to know that I don't feel like I have to worry when I am out on the road. Frankly, I do not know what I would do with out Moms Membership!"

It is my pleasure to share my POP story with you. My Mother in-laws Plan Coordinator has been a calming and supportive person in our process of being approved for the CDPAP services. She has acted as Moms liaison with the MLTC and is helping enroll with the Agency we want to work with. She has helped us get organized with everything we need to get done to be approved in CDPAP. She also helped us make doctors appointments, worked on administrative details and is helping us pull together at a time when we really need her help! Since we have 5 children and dealing with special needs for them as well. our lives are demanding. My husband is a NYPD Officer, and works long hours,. Now I have his Mom and the kids to look after - we are doing our best to protect our family and appreciate all of the help our POP team is giving to us!

Since Mom enrolled in the POP "SafeGuardTM Basic" Membership, I am much less frustrated! After I gave a release to our MLTC and Home Healthcare Agency, empowering our POP Plan Coordinator to act as Moms Patient Advocate, we worked as a team and she arranged most of the services! Setting up Moms CDPAP was a breeze for me!
She also helped us talk to our Managed Long Term Care provider about issues Mom was having and they increased Moms care hours. When we had a problem with transportation service, POP helped get it straightened out with no upsets. I love the materials that POP has given me to organize my role as a the Responsible Party.

Dear Family Member;
It is with great confidence that I recommend the Protective Oversight Partners, Ltd., SafeGuardTM Membership program for your elderly loved one! We were so fortunate to find out about the POP Services when we did, since we had big problems with Mom being able to go back home after a bad fall, hospital and rehabilitation stay. Unfortunately after her fall, which resulted in a fracture, her case had been referred to Adult Protective Services, in Rockland County, NY. Mom was determined to go home back to my Dad! My folks were very difficult, never threw anything away and the house became so cluttered it was unsafe. Mom had fallen several times. When she was set for discharge, the discharge planners at the rehab, would not release her to home unless the problems in their home were totally corrected.
I had tried and tried to help them clean out the clutter, but they refused! Since Mom and Dad had run out of savings, her only choice was to go home. Her doctor approved her for home as long as the clutter was removed and damage repaired, with only had 7 days left on her Medicare insurance approval. I'd heard from a friend about the POP services, I called, they had an opening the next day and met me at my folks home with in 24 hours. Our problems seemed insurmountable. In less than two hours of sitting and working together to solve our many problems, our Plan Coordinator helped us create a plan to get Mom home safely. She assisted with phone calls, helped find an affordable team to remove the clutter under my charge.. She spoke to the discharge planner at the rehab for me and was invited to attend the care plan meeting. In addition she assisted in locating reliable home repairmen for me to choose from for the required "safety" repairs. She communicated with APS, who came back out and declared Mom's home safe to be released for a safe discharge. I was happy to finally see all clutter out of the house!
POP was fabulous with my father who was very attached to his things., including him in ways that were safe and meaningful for him. I could see he felt dignified in that he helped get Mom home. Mom was cozy at home exactly on the 7th day in time for her discharge.! POP also helped find a live-in I could hire. She was in my folks home in time for Moms discharge! The Protective Oversight Partners Ltd., team made it happen with me. They were so loving and kind, it made me feel better and more productive. POP is truly a God send.! Forever grateful, that Mom was able to return home.
